 On Know the Score, music and culture, poetry and prose, the arts and humanities, come to life. You'll hear a world of ideas each week--great music with interviews of the artists and composers creating it; poetry and prose discussed by the authors themselves; artists and dancers talking about their work and the creative process; and we hear performances of the highest order by local and regional ensembles as well as new releases by the world's most acclaimed artists. Joan Kjaer is host of Know the Score and once a month she will take the show on the road for productions before a live audience. Live Know the Score shows are free and open to the public, broadcast live on KSUI, KHKE and KUNZ, and rebroadcast on all stations of the IPR Classical network the following morning at 10 a.m. July 4, 5 - 10 p.m. University of Iowa Pentacrest |
