UNI Museums to host Craig Johnson and 'Weather from Space'

The University of Northern Iowa Museum will host "Spacious Skies:  Earth's Weather from Space," a presentation by Craig Johnson, well-known local meteorologist, now executive director of the Iowa Academy of Science with offices at UNI, and owner of Weather Briefing, L.C., at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 13, at the University Museum, located at 3219 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls.

UNI Museums to host second installment of 'Planet Earth' Film Series March 15

The University of Northern Iowa Museum is hosting select Saturday showings of the British Broadcasting Corporation's "Planet Earth" documentary film series through May 31, at the University Museum, 3219 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls.

All film installments are shown at 1:30 and 3 p.m. on the designated dates and are free and open to the public.
