To defy rumors that the Iowa Renaissance Festival & Gathering o'Celts will not remain in the Amana Colonies, producer Gregory Schmidt has decided to up-grade the amount and quality of entertainment and historical presentations, this year.Coinciding with Amana's "Maifest" weekend the 17th installment of the Renaissance faire will feature headliner acts from the Minneapolis, Chicago and Kansas City festivals.
