The 2007 Classic Car Show was well-received and a great success. This year the classes have been increased to 46 and include Factory Stock, Street Rods, Trucks Motorcycles and more. You will find more food vendors, too!

The 4th annual Cinco de Mayo festival will take place May 3rd from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the plaza area on Bluff St. next to the LaPlacita Grocery Store, between W. 4th and W. Park Ave in downtown Waterloo.  This is your invitation celebrate this holiday of freedom with joyous festivities. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Main Street Waterloo is pleased to announce the opening day of the downtown Waterloo Farmers Market at the Regions Bank Parking Lot, 300 E. Park will be Saturday, May 3 from 8 a.m. until noon.    The downtown Farmers Market will take place every Saturday morning, until the last weekend in October. 
Our featured event for the opening day will be coffee tastings from Cottonwood Canyon.  Fresh coffee in the morning hits the spot and Cottonwood Canyon has the best fresh coffee in town.

A celebrated restaurateur announced today that he would be heading to downtown Waterloo to open a highly anticipated, New Orleans style restaurant and lounge, Bourbon Street and Voodoo Lounge. The restaurant and lounge would be the second in the Cedar Valley market. In addition, The Sky Room, an event center will also open on the building’s eighth floor.
